"When a good friend showed me her wonderful designer scrunchy top, I thought 'I want to knit that look'!" laughs Bylsma. "Here is my interpretation, complete with 'lettuce' edges. It was great fun to do and surprisingly easy. The model is knit in pure cotton yarns from three different companies (no, it’s not illegal) to get the colors I wanted and they all combine beautifully. You may want to do the same as you dig in your stash or your yarn shop’s cubbies, so go ahead and play. The textured pieces are very springy, adaptable and designed to hug and conform to your shape. I suggest working the garment in your actual under bust measurement or a smaller negative ease to get the proper fit. This is not a garment that looks good “roomy”, besides, the beauty of knitting is that it gives."
