"A terrific Easy Knit bag in two sizes, worked in 2 pieces in garter stitch," says Dempsey. "Super for taking to the beach or the market. Knit in worsted, chunky, or super bulky weight yarn. Small bag measures 8" high, 12" wide; large bag measures 12" high, 18" wide." You can see the seamlines in the picture: essentially you sew the left and right sides together down the middle, and seam along the bottom of the bag. But it's a gorgeous swishy beauty, especially well-suited to hardy textured yarns... and you could make the two halves different colours for extra oomph.
