This is the chic, soft, ultrafeminine muff from the back cover of the Vogue Knitting Early Fall 2010 issue. It's made quickly, worked flat, with two strands of the sumptuous yarn held together (the gauge reflects this), from an easy chart. The stitch pattern is 'quilted' and fascinating to work; it's both charted and written out very clearly. You then line the piece with a length of quilt batting (smart and warming), and work the flower embellishment if desired. A most unexpected and surprising piece, as well as a glorious gift. This muff has a natural companion in the beautiful Princess Mitts.
