9111 Waistcoat (in Brioche)
WEB EXCLUSIVE
Guys can be notoriously shy of anything remotely fussy in what they wear. This can make a knitter's life boring. Here are two variations on a solution to satisfy everyone: perfectly plain vests, or waistcoats, with or without buttons, but done in a lush brioche (knit one below) rib stitch. It produces a very sensual and deep fabric, is satisfying to work, the look never dates or stales, and it never looks in the least overwrought. Selvage stitches are sensibly included for ease of assembly.
