This versatile cardigan is done in a worsted weight (10 ply) yarn and sports a simple knit/purl pattern for interest. It is A-line-- the hem circumference is 8" larger than the chest, and it has slightly shaped armholes and shoulders. Because it's an outer garment, it is knitted at a slightly tighter tension than usual for a worsted-- 22 st/4 in/10cm instead of 20. Anyway, you can make it plain instead of patterned, do the hood in a different colour-- this is a big playground.
