Absolutely stunning pieces, all dropped-shoulder and easy-fitting. The top two twisted stitch or cabled garments are for adults only, but Nicholas's fair isle wonder with its corrugated ribbing and many extra features (hat in child and adult sizes only) is meant to fit children aged 2 through quite large adults (up to a finished 55"). This is a joy of a pattern to satisfy the connaisseur. The original yarn was 90% wool, 10% silk, a little slubby. Portland Tweed or Chesapeake would give a similar look now; be sure and swatch to get gauge. Gauges are given below for garments from top to bottom.
