"Although designed as a companion top for our popular 'Sasha' skirt, 'Natasha' will look great with anything," assures Van Stralen. "Short rows are used in the body to gently slope the bottom ruffle to the right side. The fullness of the sloping top ruffle gives 'Natasha' a peasant look that is both fun and flirty." This one-shoulder style couldn't be more of-the-moment, and offers lots of interest and variety to the knitter, too. The short-row process is beautifully diagrammed, and Van Stralen's astute use of eyelet, drop stitch, and lace patterns keeps the eye riveted.
