"The lace pattern in Magnolia makes this romantic sweater both beautiful and timeless," says Dietrich, but she understates the case. This is absolutely one of the sexiest kinds of pieces you can wear-- and thankfully, you can wear it any time of year, with options galore. Wear in the summer over a cami, as shown; in the winter over one of those slippery thin little silk turtlenecks (or any long-sleeved silk underpiece) you can get from places like L.L. Bean. This is knit in one piece from the lower back up over the shoulders and down the front (see schematic on the data page); so the sewing is minimal when completed-- just side and underarm seams. The lace is a popcorn stitch.
