Gallimore: "Fun fabulous faux fair isle in two deliciously beautiful hand dyed colours from Lorna's Laces. Sampled in Shepherd Sock (one of my desert island yarns), the pattern meanders its way down the ankle and onto the instep, supported by a 2 by 2 checkerboard for the sole.
"Make it subtle like this one or make it sing in a high contrast pair of colours."
Note that stretched gauge for this beauty is 24 sts to 4"/10cm; gauge as given is post-blocking, but unworn.
