N833 Sweater & Cardigan with Fair Isle

Great, solid, no-nonsense sweater and cardigan from those eschewers of frou-frou in New Zealand-- Naturally. The 1x1 rib buttonbands on the cardigan are knitted separately and then sewn on. The pattern is written for both DK (8 ply) and worsted (10 ply) weights.
Aspiring is no longer available, but it was a blend of 60% wool and 40% alpaca. The wool gave it bounce and resilience, and the alpaca gave it softness and drape. Perhaps you can find something similar.
