Perhaps the ultimate geek sweater, this is a legendary Neatby: her fans talk about it incessantly. It looks simple enough; establish and abandon a bunch of cables here and there, right? But there's much more to it (there always is with this designer) than appears at first glance. Neatby supplies you with two and a half pages of randomly-generated numbers, asks you to start at any point, and cable according to that (detailed instructions provided, of course). The sweater's template allows for ample selvages along seam lines. We showed an engineer the whole pattern and he was absolutely enchanted and wants one for himself. Bonus: who can tell if you made a 'mistake'?
