The grownup version of this design was a smash, so naturally Hames was eager to create a baby version for her first grandchild. It's spectacular for many reasons. First and most obviously, it's not a conventional design at all: it's baby couture, knit from the sleeve cuffs-- sleeves are worked in the round-- toward the centre of the body (and joined down the back by either grafting or a 3-needle bind-off, which means no sewing). And because it is so distinctive, it goes with everything. And it's fun to make and only has one button, which will please both you and the baby. Note that hat is not included.

Sweet pattern but pattern not well written... lacks clarity in instructions and photo.
