Trudy Van Stralen
for Louet North America 2007

"Delicate and pretty describes this wrap-styled bolero," says Van Stralen. "Knit in Kid Mohair, the sweater is knit on straight needles in an easy 4-row pattern. The puffiness in the sleeve is achieved through shaping at the beginning. A simple crocheted edging is worked around all edges, and allows for ribbon to be woven through it." Wrapped stitches are used for shaping on the sleeves, and the pattern's level of detail is such that you get little parenthetical explanations of how the markers work to define them. Beautiful all around.
