"Puffy cocoons are outlined by waving knit stitches," says Clark. "On the opposite side, purl stitches outline the cocoons for a different, but equally attractive look for a reversible fabric. Ends may be finished with the simple scalloped lace edging or choose the plain garter stitch borders." Two different types of laceweight are shown in this exquisite design: one of those wonderful mohair/silk 1-plys (the solid scarf) and the Heaven (variegated teal). Different sizes result depending on which weight you select. Lace patterns are both charted and written out.
