"Toe up, from the Bosnian Square Toe to the Turkish Heel," tempts Neatby. "Easy fun socks with great balanced bobbles!" We can't do more than recommend this pattern (in fact, all Neatbys) unreservedly. Making Neatby socks, or indeed Neatby anything, is not the same as making anyone else's. This pattern, typically, is at once very flexible (see the lack of absolute direction for yarn) and very specific (Neatby has experimented like mad with all manner of techniques, and wants you to benefit from her hard-won experience). Helpful diagrams and illustrations abound. If you find these socks remotely appealing, you should never regret buying this pattern. There's much more here than meets the eye. Mostly worked in the round, except for the bobbles and garter toe.
