This rich cardigan/jacket has the bottom welt worked back and forth in rows, after which the body is joined in the round, sleeves added, and the yoke is completed circularly, then cut down the middle ('steeked'). However, instructions are also provided for knitting it back and forth in rows if that scares you less; you're simply advised how to follow the charts and to knit the first and last stitch on each row "to create an even and stable edge". Handsome, traditional, and a classic style for men and women, you can also have a great deal of fun planning alternate colourways-- especially if you enjoy swatching! This is the 15th design from Lopi Book 18 (number may vary).
