"This triangle shawl is all about the geometric lace," says Schmidt, and it's got an unusual construction too: you start at one corner, increase to the deepest point, work straight for a while, and then decrease for the opposite point. It's very generously sized, easy to memorize (even though there are six different small charts, depending where you are in the knitting of the piece). The design shows off the unique Soft Sea Wool, with its tight twist and wonderful DK/sport weight, extremely well.
