Brilliantly designed: PolarKnit yarns are very strong to begin with, but the idea that you can make a dramatic pointy hat without internal cardboard supports is delicious. By knitting the PolarKnit Chunky quite tightly, this is easy to do. And since the sizes go from baby/toddler right up through adult, everyone can wear their own: whether you are the trick-or-treater, handing out candy, or just standing around in the garden. The hat proper is knit in the round throughout; the optional contrast-coloured band is knit flat.
