"This sweet little tank top is knitted in stocking stitch throughout with some simple shaping along the sides and very little finishing," reports Frankel. "It knits up quickly from the bottom up in the round, with the straps being added on after the top is finished." This is a simpler variation, with a more open back, of the designer's ingenious Lilli, but with some of the same ingeniosities: the beautiful shaping of the bodice, and the very unorthodox but very satisfying armhole finishing/ straps worked attached to the garment.
