It makes a great baby blanket." And as an unintimidating sampler, it's wonderful too; the stitch patterns are well-thought-out and the designer's choice of yarn and colours work perfectly together. Also, the reverse side of the piece looks interesting too. Charming and effective and a wonderful learning experience.
