Tammy Eigeman Thompson
for woolen collectibles 2007
LG86-a Aspen Grove
"Do you want a project that you can take with you?" asks Eigeman Thompson. "This is it. This throw is knit a square at a time, using different patterns and colors for each square. It makes a great baby blanket." And as an unintimidating sampler, it's wonderful too; the stitch patterns are well-thought-out and the designer's choice of yarn and colours work perfectly together. Also, the reverse side of the piece looks interesting too. Charming and effective and a wonderful learning experience.
