This piece can be transformed by threading I-cord through the eyelets to gather the garment to your shape or close it with your favourite belt, button, or brooch." Worked deliberately at quite a loose gauge, this is an airy, surprising take on a traditional shape. Starting with a left sleeve in the round, you work short rows for a bit until starting to work the front & back simultaneously. Right side is worked similarly, then back and side seams are joined, either by grafting or casting off together. Band edging is really a giant hem.
