This one hit me while I was running in the cold ... my face was FREEZING (I hate running with a scarf). Knitted in the round & with a twist into a figure 8, there is no bulk ... It is all one piece. You can fold the upper part into a headband or unfold it into an "almost-hat" and you can fold the lower part into a turtle-neck or unfold it into a muffler. The pattern includes instructions for DK, worsted, bulky & chunky yarns. I just keep making more (it's addictive!).
