"I wanted to use the interesting color combinations and irregularly spaced striping of contemporary Nepali export textiles, and this shape just leapt onto the pages of my sketch book," explains Temple. "This wrap cardigan is simple to knit in rows on circular needles, but the glory is in the details-- narrow bands of seed stitch control the rolled hem and edgings, set-in sleeves allow a close fit at the shoulders without cluttering the cardigan's clean lines, and occasional bright bursts of color keep things interesting for both the knitter and the lucky wearer."
