509 Tracery Scarf
"Gothic architecture made beautiful work of tracery," explains fan Dulaney, "ornamental work of interlacing or branching lines as seen in stained glass windows. The trellis pattern of this scarf similarly branches out to create a beautiful openwork pattern." Stunning in the pale grey silk handspun shown in the main picture, and gorgeous too in the Rowan, this is a fascinating stitch pattern. It's one of the few laces to look great on guys too, and traps warmth very effectively.
