Architectural wonders with an invisible bonus. There's also a short-sleeved raglan top in the same yarn and stitch pattern as the 'shrug' on the left, which is not shown; these garments were made in a 100% linen, aran weight (98 yards to 50g, 18 sts = 4"/10cm on a 4mm/US6), and the first gauge below is for both. The lace shell has a sophistication not immediately evident; stitch count varies from row to row, and back and front are identical with no neck shaping. The pullover on the right starts at the bottom front and continues in one piece up past the neck and down the back, with neck shaping on both sides; all that's left at the end is sewing the side and sleeve seams. Wearable art.
