"'All sizes: Cast on 3 stitches.' Yup, that's how it starts," laughs Temple, "begin with three stitches at one hip, increase until desired length, work even for a while (or not), decrease until you're back to three stitches-- body done! Pick up for the ribbing at the bottom hem and again for the yoke front and back, and you get almost the whole sweater completed before you have to break out the tapestry needle and do a wee bit of finishing. This luscious, long repeat wool yarn leads to some fabulous diagonal striping, and since you are knitting the side seams as you go, you never have to worry that the stripes won't match! I am inclined to think this is the perfect long layering piece for the winter, and a lot of fun to make!"
