476 Spindrift Capelet
An extremely holey yet elegant, sideways knit shawl with short row shapings," explains Neatby. "The shapings are enhanced by use of holes of differing sizes. Two yarns are used alternately to give a flattering vertical element to the design. Good fun to knit, the holey rows require a degree of attention followed by several relaxing plain rows. After a couple of repeats it falls into a logical sequence. Minimal finishing required. The #474 Spindrift or #476 Fishtail scarves make an excellent introduction to this technique."
