"Blue skies, green grass and autumn gold inspired my choice of these beautiful Koigu colors," says Tracy. "However, this scarf will work equally well in your favorites. The original pattern stitch comes to you through an international lineage of knit designers. I first saw it used in a sweater by Valentina Devine and she attributes it to Horst Schultz. I hope you enjoy my use of it as a motif in this scarf. In order that both ends of the scarf show the rounded edges at the bottom front, I devised an interesting back-of-the-neck, two-color cable section with the join hidden in a small garter band." Gauge below is a generic one for KPPPM; gauge is not specified in the pattern.
