ss2000/4 Two Sweaters

A pair of timeless, casual, great sweaters to wear with Eileen Fisher or Zoran separates-- or anything relaxed and easy, even jeans. The original yarn on the left was 100% linen; gauge is given over pattern stitch and blocking-- the pattern actually says, "stretch to blocked gauge when measuring", so they really want you to be firm. The other was a textured cotton/nylon blend, 5 sts to 1"/2.5cm on a 4mm/US6. You can see these are very simple pieces; the glory is in the wisdom of the simple stitch patterns, deftly used, and easy to knit. The size ranges are excellent.
