Meier Rioux has you wind each of the two skeins into balls beginning with the darkest part of the colourway, and knit the fronts out to the side seams; sleeves are next, from the cap down; then you alternate the balls on the back (knitted from hem up). The result is striking, flattering, painterly, knitterly-- truly remarkable. Closure options are up to you; a stickpin is perfect.
