This stunning piece has a knitted cousin, similar in many respects, here. But the crocheted version stands proudly alone, too. The construction is remarkable; the schematic is a marvel of ingenious simplicity. You make a long piece incorporating both sleeves, then reattach the yarn to the body and complete the piece without any seams. The only 'finishing' is working the trim around the cuffs and blocking. American crochet terminology is used throughout, but all terms are well explained in and of themselves. The luscious yarn is 100% cashmere in a DK weight. See data page for gauge information.
