"Romance" Pom Pom Scarf

A basic scarf with a regularly irregular rib, which suits absolutely any one of any sex or age-- pom-poms optional, but this is one of those (rare?!) cases where they can really add something. Of course following the pattern instructions requires little concentration, but the directions given for how to make pom-poms are very comprehensive. This is one of those meat-and-potatoes patterns, but written for a baked Alaska yarn (Romance is 100% cashmere). Gauge for this yarn is given both over st st and rib pattern.
