Rarely do we call a garment of this kind 'exciting', but this is-- full of the inimitable Chia's little designer touches. There's a bit of most every kind of interesting thing to do. It is knit in one piece to the underarm, with shaped armholes: you then pick up stitches around the armhole and knit the sleeve down, with short rows for shaping. Back neck is gently scooped out almost to the shoulders; shoulders themselves are shaped, again with short rows; and the cable bottom is knit separately, then sewn on. Neckline rib is picked up, then knit out. Enormous fun to make and glorious to wear.
