We prize this top for being a perfect seasonless basic; for its 3/4 or bracelet-length sleeves (so good for wearing with longer gloves in spring or fall); for its waist and back neck shaping and gorgeous set-in sleeves. We prize it for the dainty knit/purl finish at the neckline, hem and cuffs. But mostly we prize it for creating the illusion that there's much more decolletage on view than there really is. Somehow the eye, magnetized by the double moss pattern, imagines a plunge neckline when in fact it's a perfectly demure depth. Is it Bagni's design magic? Or wishful thinking?
