Asked to describe this vest, the British Frankel said simply, "knitted in one piece from the bottom up with trims knitted on after the waistcoat is finished." But this is one of the sexiest vests we've ever seen: the waistcoat as maillot. It is photographed modestly, but look at the lines: the neckline is almost a sweetheart one and very low, there's careful waist shaping, and deeply-scooped armholes. Also, Frankel recommends no ease to speak of, and the back neck is snugged down enough to give the nape of your neck some air (the better to let your perfume waft about). And the many little buttons... mercy! We get faint just looking at the schematic.
