So joyous, so fitted, so French. And could this design be better timed than to arrive here just as the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic is released? Anyway, the shape is trim and includes waist, back neck, and shoulder shaping, along with the sly little short set-in sleeves and beautifully carved armholes. The pattern kindly gives instructions as to how to centre the intarsia design (which you can embroider, if you prefer). And really, while the yarn is a little fine here, this witty intarsia lady would look clunky in anything heavier-- and this is not about the clunky. Fits older girls as well.
