If you're new to knitting lace don't be intimidated-- the lace pattern used is simple and the scarf is a small project. The lace pattern is written as well as being charted. Use a removable note to keep track of the row you are on, following either the chart or written instructions." A lovely pattern that will teach you (this is invaluable) what eyelets look like as you make them in relation to the other stitches. Gauge given is after blocking.
