The kids' garment on the right has 6 possible charted centres based on quilt blocks (House, Nine Patch, Shoo Fly, Star, Log Cabin, and Pinwheel-- you can see some of them at the lower right in the big picture); the adult garment on left is just perfect as is, and would be a fantastic way to use up scraps (thus following the real quilting tradition). The kids' sweater is in sizes 2 - 8, and you can use Montera or La Gran instead of London Tweed. For the adult garment, try Renaissance or Portland Tweed.
