Linda Pratt
for Classic Elite Yarns 1991
354 Modern Family
WEB EXCLUSIVE
Anyone in your family occasionally lacking a backbone, or resolve of any kind? It looks like these striking garments will supply those things simply by virtue of putting them on. Strong, decided, rugged, and true-- these are John Wayne pieces, Hemingway sweaters, outdoorsy and healthy. The wishbone cable only involves a cable needle one row out of every 16, so that's easy; but the intriguing twist stitch is worked every other row. Both back and front necks are shaped (Pratt taking extra tailoring care here), but otherwise all lines are straight.
