This style of garment is rapidly becoming essential outdoor wear, and this particular example combines traditional Aran elements most untraditionally. Armholes are well cut in and sleeve caps high. The look of the arm is further lengthened by the vertical cable column running down it (echoing the cable right under the front button placket). The bobbles flanking the left and right side cables are just enough-- not too fussy, but not getting lost, either. Publisher is clarifying needle size in gauge; we believe that it should be a 5mm/US8, rather than what's specified in the pattern.
