Kristin Nicholas,
Susan Mills

for Classic Elite Yarns   1995

632 The Ruins of Dunstaburgh Castle
WEB EXCLUSIVE

These pieces need hardly any description beyond a simple 'handsome'. Distinguished and rich in texture, they're at home anywhere tradition is appreciated. Mills's elegant Trinity stitch vest has a couple of vertical cables running on either side of the arm (on the back, too), and is trimmed with 1x1 rib around the neck and armholes. Nicholas's magnificent drop-shoulder sweater, available either with shawl collar or Trinity stitch crew neck (to match the hem and cuffs), is simply a symphony of stitchwork. Evergreen yarns are no longer around, but Renaissance should substitute very well.
