Twisted Meadow (Toe Up)

This beautiful sock, with cables that are almost Romanesque in their simplicity and restraint, would suit men and women equally well. They are knitted from the toe up and every detail is exquisite-- look at the line of the gusset expanding gently upwards, the impeccable slip stitch flap heel, and the incorporation of the single twisting rope joining into the main cable pattern just above the heel. Frankel kindly includes instructions for the Sewn Bind-Off for extra give at the top of the ankle, as well as the Figure 8 Cast-On.
