Getting buried by your sock yarn stash? Found a couple of balls of a great handpaint? Want to make socks to fit, or looking for an easy pattern that has just the right amount of interest? This may be the pattern for you!
"This is a toe-up sock with feather lace detail," explains Hurry, "including three stitch count sizes with a guide to show you how to pick a size based on the yarn you choose and the recipient's foot size. Main instructions use double pointed needle numbers, with conversions in brackets for 2 circulars and Magic Loop." This is a very detailed pattern, yet easy to read and well laid-out. It's full of useful tips (for example, the designer provides the URL for one of her favorite bind-offs), and the lace is both charted and written out; the chart is very large and legible. Sock has a flap heel. Suggested gauge of 7-8 stitches/1"(2.5cm).
