HSH40 Thinking of You Scarf
"Say 'I'm thinking of you' with a handknit scarf of lace hearts," suggests Erickson-Schweitzer. "Simple and quick to knit on just 29 stitches. The scarf begins with a wavy eyelet rib stitch symbolizing the twists and turns of life, and ends with a band of interlocking hearts to express the bonds of loving friendship and support."
Fans of asymmetry will rejoice, and indeed this pattern takes full advantage of the right side/wrong side aspect of some scarf knitting; the wavy eyelet rib looks good either way, so just keep your hearts up, kid.
