9089 Knitted Lace Edged Jacket

A darling little twist on a classic shape: it's like a bedjacket, with lots of freedom for the baby, and its shape allows for the blooming bottoms they sport (all padded with diapers or nappies). Nevertheless, all is feminine here. There is just enough detail at the yoke to be interesting for the knitter, and the shoulders are even shaped. The bottom edge is hemmed; the lace trim is done as you begin the sleeve cuff, but the neckline lace is done separately and sewn on afterward. Buttonbands are done as a piece with the fronts. Flower instructions included. Note the sport tension (24 sts = 4 in/10cm). To fit 0 - 18 months.
