This intriguing slip stitch piece is for the aficionado-- someone who appreciates the zeal of making as much as the pleasure of wearing a garment. As usual with slip stitch patterns, only one colour is used per row, which makes carrying a second colour along with you (and maintaining it tension carefully) unnecessary. The various combinations possible (i.e., solid and variegated colours, and the varied stitch pattern from sleeve to body) just add to the fascination of knitting and gazing. Sleeves have a slight cap and the neck has an almost Tudor finish.
