Hugely comprehensive, with the scarf pattern written for four weights of yarn (laceweight, fingering, DK, and worsted); the handwarmer pattern is written for fingering, DK, and worsted-- though if you wish to use laceweight, you're instructed to do so with yarn doubled, following the fingering weight instructions. As usual, the detail leaves nothing to be desired. There are photos galore (B&W), and tips of all kinds for joining in the round, closing gaps, using markers-- everything that might help you achieve a marvellous result. Schematic-type photographs are present without measurements, so as to avoid confusion with the various gauges possible.
