Ensembles for babies are not common enough in North America, but this is a lovely, easy example of something that's fast to knit and very good-looking on a young one. The seed stitch trim on the bands and hems is great for kids, since it looks identical on both sides; and if the cuffs are turned up, it looks as polished as when they are down. Jacket is done in a worsted weight; pants in a finer sport weight for more comfort (gauge information presented only for the cardigan). Both pieces are knit flat. Sized for 6 - 18 months. Pattern is in a brochure format.
