We have worked in the yarn business many years, and it's rare to see something that looks really new. This yoke treatment does. Clever Khouri begins with a standard Lopi-pullover-style of construction, with body and sleeves knit in the round and joined at the underarm. Then the fun starts, with the intriguing 'cable' effect (just a matter of increasing and decreasing around st st) and the garter stitch centres. The shaping is organic, never looking clumsy, and culminates in the lovely wide neck. Works equally well in a chunky cotton blend or sumptuous alpaca. We don't consider underarm seams 'sewing'!
