"Texture zig-zags back and forth across the ankle and morphs into a diagonal 3 by 1 ribbing on the instep that meets in a line at the centre of the foot," describes Gallimore. To us this looks almost Moorish, with its purling curves and arches below the cuff edge, tumbling in swirls down the ankle: some of the best of geometric architecture. As is often the case, Gallimore thoughtfully gives instructions for an Eye of Partridge heel in addition to the clog heel shown, in case you prefer it for wear. Fall 2008.
